CMUN '15 - COMETS MODEL UNITED NATIONS (April 17-18, 2015)
Dear MUN Directors, Participants,
Guests,
It is a great pleasure for us
to invite you to our first CMUN (Comets Model United Nations) conference, which
will be held on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the
Commonwealth-Parkville School (Commonwealth Campus in Hato Rey). We would
appreciate your participation and love to share this experience with you.
We will follow THIMUN
Procedure (all procedural information will be sent in the following weeks) and
will divide into 2 committees, which on the second day will meet in a General Assembly
(all together). Topics and country assignments will be ready in the next two
weeks. Mr. Roland Lugo, our Secretary General, will meet with the Chairs to
decide the Topics to be discussed at each of the committees.
Due
to limited space, we will only be able to have 15 students from each
school. There is a registration fee of $10.00 per delegate/teacher to cover
administrative costs (placards, note-paper, photocopies, etc). Delegates and
teachers will be able to buy lunch, both days, in the school cafeteria and
tournament kiosks.
For further information
you may check our blog: http://cometsmun.blogspot.com/.
Our application forms are now available on our blog and you may apply
until March 13, 2015.
